Pioneer the Future of Rubber

Let's envision a future where natural rubber drives a self-reliant industry, powered by groundbreaking research and collaborative spirit.

Natural Rubber Industry

About Research And Development Centre

The Research and Development Centre will be KRL's core hub for technological advancement and quality assurance. This facility will provide essential services like incubation, prototyping, and pilot plant studies to upgrade manufacturing technology for all rubber products. Our goal will be to drive innovation and help businesses, especially MSME units, become competitive internationally through high-quality products.

Built for Breakthroughs in Rubber Industry

The Research and Development Centre will be equipped with modern laboratories and advanced equipment that will support testing, product development, and process innovation across every stage of natural rubber production.

Dry Rubber Products

The dry rubber lab is created to test, mix, and perfect solid rubber compounds with high precision. We use the Kneader and Two-roll mixing mill for uniform compounding so as to minimize batch variation and optimize additive dispersion. Then, the facility has critical machinery like the Moving Die Rheometer to measure curing characteristics for guiding vulcanization processes. Similarly, the Plastimeter determines raw rubber viscosity, while the 5kN Universal Testing Machine verifies tensile strength and elongation.

Latex Products

We prioritize the unique needs of liquid rubber, where stability and purity are really important. That’s why the Research and Development facility comes with a Latex centrifuging machine to ensure high-quality concentration, separating field latex into specific grades. And every process, from extraction to final formulation, is studied in detail through a 150 N Universal Testing Machine and a Mechanical Stability Tester. Combined with precision instruments like viscometers, these facilities help industries develop superior latex-based products such as gloves, adhesives, and coated materials that meet the highest international standards for performance and safety.

Characterization

Our material characterization suite conducts deep compositional and thermal analysis essential for high-performance product development. The FTIR (Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) identifies chemical components and detects contaminants to verify the purity. And the facility has TGA High Resolution (Thermogravimetric Analysis) to determine material degradation and composition under heat to inform any thermal stability. Complementary tools like the UV-Visible Spectrophotometer and Particle size analyzer provide insights into color, optical properties, and filler efficiency for new rubber formulations.
